Pair jailed for £368,000 student loan fraud
Two men who swindled £368,000 out of the Student Loans Company have today (May 21) been jailed for a total of seven years.
Daniel Buchanan, 31, of Tottenham, north London and Mustapha Ali, 22, of east London, ran an extensive and sophisticated scheme, through which individuals could make false online applications for loans and grants to the SLC.
