Intellectual Property rights are the collective name for a number of different areas of law which can be split into the following categories:

· Patents
· Trade Marks
Copyright
Copyright can protect literary works, dramatic works, musical works artistic works, layouts or typographical arrangements, recordings of a work, or broadcasts of a work. You should only copy or use a work protected by copyright with the copyright owner’s permission.
